Bill and I had a great time in Cathedral City, California, in July, but oh, my, it was HOT, HOT, HOT! I highly recommend visiting the California Desert in the Fall/Winter, when the temps are not in the 120s!
We scheduled this visit to spend time with good friends that moved to Cathedral City to follow both of their sons, who moved to California from New York. That’s dedication if you ask me!
Palm Springs
No, I did not take any photos while we were on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, because I was not looking! Once we were at the top, I was fine and we thoroughly enjoyed our two mile hike. It was at least 20 degrees cooler at 8.516 feet! I imagine the vistas are even more beautiful in the Fall and Winter.
